For many years I have been painting hard edge compositions using acrylics, predominantly on canvas but occasionally on hardboard.

Most of my paintings are loosely based on natural scenes or phenomena constrained by the exclusive use of hard edges. These are then elaborated upon by the use of harmonising colours and the addition of geometrical shapes, lines and curves, resulting in abstracted images that are hopefully both interesting and engaging. More recently I have refined my technique by initially experimenting using digital technology and then transferring the resulting composition to canvas using acrylics.
